WELCOME FROM THE FORUM CHAIRS
On behalf of the Organising Committee, we are most delighted to welcome you to the 13th Hong Kong International Nursing Forum. We cordially invite you to join this Forum which will be held on March 5, 2024 in Hong Kong. It is our honour to host this event, and co-organise with renowned universities around the world.
This year, the theme of the Forum is "Nurses’ Impact on Planetary Health". Planetary health emphasizes the complex interconnections between human well-being and the health of our planet, taking into account the vitality of its natural environment and the diverse array of living organisms that inhabit it. Nurses play an indispensable role in shaping planetary health through their multifaceted involvement in key areas, such as patient care, education, research, and the development of health policies. This Forum is dedicated to serving as a global platform for acknowledging and celebrating the significant contributions nurses have made in the past, as well as fostering dialogue and collaboration among nurses, other healthcare professionals, and policymakers to further expand their influence. By sharing knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions, this platform aims to inspire and empower nurses to continue making a positive impact on both human health and the well-being of our planet, ultimately elevating their role in addressing pressing global health and environmental challenges in the years to come.
We are also excited to announce the hosting the 27th East Asian Forum of Nursing Scholars (EAFONS) conference, taking place back-to-back with this Forum on March 6 and 7, 2024.
