Climate
Winter weather in Hong Kong (from Mid-December to February) is noticeably cooler than other seasons but is nevertheless mild. The temperature is around 12-20oC, though can drop below 10°C at times. Snow is unheard of in Hong Kong. Crisp, clear days with little rain do make winter a viable time to visit and much more enjoyable than the hot and sticky summers. You can find detailed information about current and seasonal weather on the Hong Kong Observatory website.

Visitors to Hong Kong must hold a passport that is valid for at least six months after the planned departure date from Hong Kong. Legal tender is the Hong Kong dollar (HK$). Exchange services for different currencies are available in various banks and currency exchange shops in Hong Kong.

The standard electrical voltage in Hong Kong is 220 volts AC, 50Hz. Most hotel bathrooms also have outlets for 100 volts, but if not, you will need a transformer for any appliance or electrical equipment.
